Happy (almost) New Year! It’s been awhile since I’ve written here but I figured a New Years fashion post was in order. I personally use New Years as an excuse to wear the most sparkly, overly sequined clothing I can find, and a friend and I decided that Forever 21 would probably be the most appropriate place to find such clothing. We spent the first 20 minutes making fun of the insane tackiness and then mysteriously, some of the items started looking good. I ended up buying these insane leopard shoes and sparkly blue shirt (see below), as well as a non-sparkly green dress that was surprisingly well made, in addition to being 100% silk!

So please take advantage of the one day of the year where it’s perfectly acceptable to wear something ridiculously loud and shiny and glittery and have a Happy New Year!!
