Project Runway Finale: The Best of the Rest

The other designs I liked from the Project Runway decoy collections were from Amy, Jonathan, and Jay.

The first look is Amy’s, which I posted for the beautiful work on the skirt. She used a similar technique in the burlap sack challenge and created a dress that was remarkably luxurious considering the material she was working with.

I’m not entirely sure what is going on with the bottom of Jonathan’s charcoal and red look (is it pants? a skirt? some kind of hybrid?) but it’s original and interesting and I love the bodice.

The last two designs are Jay’s, and the first gray dress is one of the looks he presented in last week’s showdown against Mila. The lines are fantastic, and it made me want to see more of his sci-fi, samurai-inspired collection, as opposed to Mila’s collection, which looked like everything else she designed this season.
