The Met Gala red carpet photos are up! I’m super excited for the exhibit, which celebrates American fashion from 1890-1940. Gap, the event’s sponsor, joined forces with several established eveningwear designers to dress eight of the attendees. The best of these collaborations were Kerry Washington’s fabulous red Thakoon for Gap gown, and Kirsten Dunst’s Rodarte, which had a beautifully draped bodice. Marion Cotillard and Anne Hathaway represent the best of the sparkly champagne colored gowns, of which there were many, and Gisele and Gwen Stefani brought some edge to the red carpet while remaining appropriately glamorous for the occasion.
