As someone who has been (unsuccessfully) experimenting with ways to keep cool in the brutal nyc summers, I was thrilled to see that Jezebel covered the topic earlier today. Some of the better tips were to wear natural fibers, light layers for going to and from work, and keeping a spare shirt at the office. And in one of the comments, someone suggests wearing shorts under skirts, which would certainly be helpful in reducing subway/long staircase lurker paranoia. Still, there has to be a better way to stay comfortable in disgustingly hot weather, and I will continue searching for it!
